The Tongue of My power hath, from the heaven of My omnipotent glory, addressed to My creation these words: “Observe My commandments, for the love of My beauty.” Happy is the lover that hath inhaled the divine fragrance of his Best-Beloved from these words, laden with the perfume of a grace which no tongue can describe. Thou art My lamp and My light is in thee. Ty jsi moje světlo a mé světlo v tobě je. Get thou from it thy radiance and seek none other than Me. Získejte ty z ní tvůj zář a usilovat o nic jiného než já. For I have created thee rich and have bountifully shed My favor upon thee. Vytvořil jsem pro tebe bohaté a mají štědře chlévě Moje milost k tobě.

The true lover yearneth for tribulation even as doth the rebel for forgiveness and the sinful for mercy. Skutečný milovník yearneth na soužení i jako činí povstalecké o odpuštění a hříšný o slitování.

O Son of Being! Synu bytí!
If poverty overtake thee, be not sad; for in time the Lord of wealth shall visit thee. Pokud chudoby překvapit tě, ať není smutný, protože v době, kdy Pán bohatství musí navštívit tě. Fear not abasement, for glory shall one day rest on thee. Nebojte se ponížení, pro slávu se jeden den odpočinku na tobě.
